I painted this 6" x 8" oil during one of the monthly 'paint ins' I have with my friends Donna and Susan. I like the shape of the little pitcher and was experimenting with a more muted palette. I remember fiddling with the position of the lemon slice until it was just right. I'll really try to post more regularly.

I love this painting... maybe partly because I got to watch you paint it! It's so nice to get to look at your beautiful paintings in the gallery now. Congratulations on getting your blog back on a front burner. i'm going to love seeing what's next.
